Intermittent fasting timer

Forgot to start it?
Fix it.

Every other fasting app treats a mistimed fast as your problem. Refast treats it as the whole point. Nudge the start back two hours, set the end to when you actually ate, or add a fast you never timed at all — in about three taps.

Coming to the App Store · iPhone, iPad, Mac & Apple Watch Free to use · optional one-time unlock

What it does

A timer, done properly. Not a coach, a diary or a dietician.

Refast counts the hours and remembers what happened. It does not tell you what fasting does to your body, and it does not have an opinion about your weight.

Fix it when you forget

One-tap nudges — −2h, −1h, −30m, −15m, +15m — on the running fast and on any row in History. Add a fast by hand if you never timed it. It refuses overlaps and future dates, so the record stays honest.

Past your goal is still progress

Most timers freeze at 100% and stop telling you anything. Refast keeps counting and tells you how far past your goal you got.

Wherever you look

Your fast runs in the Dynamic Island, on the Lock Screen, on the Home Screen, in StandBy overnight and on your Apple Watch face. Start or end from Control Centre, the Action button or Siri, without opening the app.

Plans, not prescriptions

14:10, 16:8, 18:6, 20:4 and OMAD are built in, and you can set any length you like. Changing your plan never rewrites a fast you have already finished.

A day that starts when yours does

Break a fast at 00:40 and it counts towards the night before, not a brand-new day — so a streak you actually kept doesn't quietly reset while you sleep.

The numbers, without the sermon

Streaks, weekly hours and how often you reach your goal. Averages, records, a heatmap and your usual start time if you unlock them. No advice about what any of it means.

What it costs

Free as a timer. One payment for the rest, if you want it.

Refast is free to download and free to use as a fasting timer, for as long as you like — not a trial, not a countdown, not a nag screen. Refast Plus is a single payment that unlocks the customisation and the deeper history. There is no subscription, no renewal and no account, and one purchase covers every device you sign in with.

Free, and it stays free

The timer itself. Every fasting plan. Retroactive editing. Notifications. All the widgets, the Live Activity and Dynamic Island, the Apple Watch app, per-fast notes, CSV export, and two of the six themes and app icons.

Refast Plus — one payment

The other four themes and their matching app icons, your full history rather than the last seven days, the detailed trends, saved custom plans, a complete backup file, and iCloud sync across iPhone, iPad and Mac.

What you will never see

No subscription. No advert. No account to create. No "unlock your results" screen after you have already logged them. Nothing you paid for moving behind a new tier later.

The promise

There is no server. There is nothing to leak.

No account to create and no server of mine for your data to sit on. Everything stays on your device, and with Plus it syncs through your own iCloud. Export your fasts as a CSV whenever you like, back the lot up to a file, or delete everything in one go. The App Store privacy label reads "Data Not Collected" because that is true.

One honest note

Fasting is not right for everyone.

If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, taking insulin or diabetes medication, under 18, or have a history of disordered eating, please speak to a doctor before you start. Refast is a timer — it is not medical advice and it will not pretend to be.
